This silk screen print is a statement regarding women’s rights to their bodies and how government interferes with this basic human right. This work is inspired by modern feminism. In 2020 though women are making headway there remains much oppression and control over our bodies through the predominantly male led legislative and judicial process. Being able to make our own decisions about our health, body and sexuality is a basic human right. Through this work I wanted to spread awareness of women’s sexual and reproductive rights.
